Our Story
A Tradition of Persian Craftsmanship
For decades, fine rug care has been more than a service in our family — it has been a discipline rooted in precision, patience, and respect for handmade textiles.
My father built his reputation through meticulous restoration and careful preservation of Persian and Oriental rugs. Every rug was treated as a work of art, not a commodity.
From dye stability testing to fringe reweaving and structural repair, his approach was never rushed. Craft always came first.
That foundation continues to guide Ara Rugs today.
Growing Up Around the Craft
A Legacy Learned Early
I grew up watching rugs being evaluated, washed, repaired, and restored by hand. What began as curiosity slowly became apprenticeship.
Understanding fiber types, natural dyes, and handmade construction wasn’t learned overnight — it was absorbed through years of observation and hands-on experience.
The childhood photo you see here represents the beginning of that journey — learning the discipline behind the artistry.
What started as tradition has evolved into responsibility.
Continuing the Craft
A New Generation of Rug Expertise
Today, I lead Ara Rugs with the same standards I was raised around — but with a modern, client-focused approach.
Every rug is evaluated individually. Every recommendation is honest. Every service is deliberate.
I personally oversee client communication, scheduling, and assessments to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the process.
Our work blends traditional Persian rug care techniques with structured systems that prioritize efficiency, organization, and professionalism.
The goal remains the same:
Preserve what matters. Protect what lasts.
